Do I have enough yarn?

I had a dream last night. Not sure why, but I was in the store...could have been any store that sells yarn, and I had picked out some green yarn. I had it in my arms and was all ready to get to the check out, when I thought to myself "what in the world are you going to use this yarn for?" I went through a series of trying to talk myself into buying the yarn (why?) green is my least favorite color.

I am not one to analize dreams, however if I were going to analize this one I would come to the conclution yarn stash is large enough....

Yep...i do have better to do.

My daughters received Kathy Kruse dolls for Christmas. I think I am more in love with these sweet little imitations of children, than my kids are.
I made this hat using Simplicity pattern 4332. On the left of the doll is my youngest daugher. She is quite used to being behind the camera (in case yoiu couldn't tell by the instant smile) so she was eager to be in the pose.
The pattern I used is for a ladies hat, but i just shrunk it down to fit the dolls heads after several trial and errors. During the making of the hats a quote came to my mind "mistakes are the greatest key to learning". I think I made it up...who knows..
As I was saying...about the mistakes...I never really knew that until I began crafting. More so with knitting, and crocheting. I think in scrapping there is more room for mistakes. I have also learned with my mistakes that one can find some pretty cool ways to do things they never knew existed. Just think of "Sewards folly" That was the 2 million dollar purchase of Alaska.
In my life in this day I trust in Jesus Christ for my strength, my marriage, my patience, my child get the idea. As time goes by I tend to loose traction...forget to seek first the kingdom of God and ALL His RIGHTEOUSNESS, fall off the wagon a little bit. Suck down a few beers before a difficult situation. Instead of going in prayer and the Word.
But when I make those mistakes there is always forgiveness and I come out stronger. To quote my pastor "I am not perfect...Just perfectly forgiven" I am glad God keeps me on a short leash. I pray that he yanks me back when I need it.
Ok so I guess I am done blogging for this feels good!

This is the invitation I created for my nieces baby shower. I am excited to show it to her.

Ok, this is so exciting! I always wanted to start my own blog, but thought they cost money.

I said to myself..."you will create a blog...and no one will look at it...and you will be paying for nothing....besides, you don't want the whole world to know what you are doing."

Whole world, ha ha I am ambitious. I cannot wait until I have stuff to share and I can contribute it to this blog.

Blah Blah Blah, so far so boring. I know.

My mother was just visiting from an airplane ride away and she wanted me to knit her a hat. The thing actually turned out nice! I am amazed and proud. Not sure how I am so amazed as I have been doing nothing but needle work since the dawn of Thanksgiving. I do know that it is very addicting.

My husband of 11 years, and I are going to quit smoking Jan 1st. I think all the crafting will help...that and the patch.

Ok so I am going to try and post the pic of the hat. It is me wearing it.
Ok, so photo is at top of blogging. I'll get it soon.
